మై నన
Being the youngest in the family when I was born, a special amount of attention was devoted to me. This attention was especially given to be by my grandma. Nana, as i called her, started me out being a shopaholic. Shopping soon became more of an everyday adventure whenever she and I would spend time together. Although she would start out by telling me that we weren't buying anything, I would always be able to work the system so that she would buy me a new dress or toy. Even though I moved away from her hometown in Bloomington when I was only five years old, my Nana and I have remained exceptionally close. When most girls would tell their mom about their problems, I always felt as though I could open up more to Nana. Since our personalities were(and still are)so similar, I found it much easier to relate to her. Another trait I aquired from my Nana was sheer gullibility. Although we have plenty of "book smarts" both of us are genuinely lacking in the common sense department. This makes my Nana and I even more relatable to one another. Even though I am almost an adult, I feel like I will most definately maintain my strong relationship with my grandmother.
